Every year, J. Walter Thompson sponsors the Helen Lansdowne Resor scholarship provides five creative female students $10,000 towards their education. The problem was, no one knew about it. A lackluster website, no social presence and an incredibly verbose application process were all barriers to entry. We were tasked to redesign the website utilizing an existing brand video and grow the social presence from there. With the necessity to utilize the pre-existing cartoon figure, we modernized and extrapolated the scholarship as a brand, honing in on the one thing people really want, the money.
